DESALMADO Signs With GREYHAZE RECORDS

February 15, 2011

Greyhaze Records has announced the signing of the Brazilian grindcore band DESALMADO. The deal will include the worldwide vinyl release of the group's acclaimed 2008 debut EP, "Hereditas", as well as the release of a new full-length album.

DESALMADO's upcoming CD will feature a guest appearance by Marcus D’Angelo of CLAUSTROFOBIA.

Formed in 2004 under the name EL FUEGO, DESALMADO has always been very active, playing gigs throughout Sao Paulo and surrounding cities. From its very inception, DESALMADO took on a solid approach towards grindcore, but at the same time refused to be tied to any single musical style. In 2005 the group put out its first demo which led to the release of its 2006 self-titled debut album. Despite being a simple production, the effort was very well received by fans in the local scene and beyond. Only 200 copies were made and the album is currently out of print. In 2008 DESALMADO released the "Hereditas" EP, which was recorded by the current lineup.

DESALMADO is:

Caio Augusttus - Vocals
Estevam Romera - Guitars
Ricardo Nutzmann - Drums
Maria Piti - Bass
Bruno Leandro - Guitars
